An instructional app for Xender users
Sharing files between devices can be a tedious process. Not only do your devices have to be compatible, you also have to go through the trouble of setting up cords, cables, and other necessary equipment. Xender is an app that allows users to transfer files through Wi-Fi. However, it may be a bit complicated if you've never used it before, so here is the Guide Sharing Xander Files Transfer Share tool to try and educate you how to do it. Is it successful as an instructional app?
Inadequate Interface and Interactivity
If you're going to make something into an app, even if it's just for educational or instructional purposes, then adding interactive elements is important. This app barely has any, and the buttons are only menus that lead to the instructions.
The design of the app is also pretty awful. The main screen contains the menu buttons and they are just solid white shapes with black labels on a green background. Clicking on the menu buttons will lead to the instructions themselves and they are even worse. The text is in a slightly darker shade of green from the background which makes it difficult to read.
Contents and Presentation
The instructions provided in the app are hardly helpful. They contain only the most basic steps to getting Xender. In fact, it doesn't even cover the process of how to use Xender at all. It just tells you to download Xender and that's it. There are no screenshots, no detailed explanations, or even FAQs.
The writing clearly has not been proofread, either, as there are dozens of grammar and spelling mistakes. Users will have to be prepared to decipher what the instructions mean before they can actually apply it.
Waste of Space
If you're having trouble using Xender, save yourself the trouble and just search for a solution online. There's really no need to waste time and storage space installing this app to your device as it has no useful information in it.
